You can shape the fate of the national economic stimulus package!

As one of its first acts, the new U.S. Congress will pass an 'economic stimulus package' - legislation intended to jumpstart our suffering economy.  Funding for public education must be a prominent component of this legislation - Education is critical to the future of our economy - and our youth!  Please take action by writing your U.S. Representatives and Senators to let them know that ensuring quality public education for every child must remain a top priority!

This is a critical time for the future of public education in America, as many states and school districts have already cut their education budgets.ﾠ Therefore, education funding must be included in the economic stimulus legislation, and must be flexible enough to meet the varying needs of over 14,000 school districts around the country.
